The urge to travel

Good morning people,

Bae and I would like to travel this summer but our private life makes it complicate… Our actual dream would be to go to Island, rent a car and… why not… trek !

Patience is a vertue

Our actual criteria are :

  • Not too far but not too close
  • Not too expensive but it is always too expensive
  • No sunbathing looking like a whale aground on the beach (or at least not this time)
  • Visiting places but no crowded places
  • Having fun Laughing the hell outta us !

Here we are, looking every corner of the Internet after a place that could have all the criterea we are ecpecting. We are finding really amazing destinations with superb landscapes and on the top of everything the prices are very attractive !

Huh … wait … we were not looking at the right dates ! Well, forget it our holidays are dropping in the middle of the most expensive periods.

Holy Molly !

We are starting to abandoned the idea of travelling this summer when, in the middle of the night, we are talking about going to London with the Eurostar.

Taking the train to London is easy and fast, it could be cheap if you book early and out of the period of “high influences” such as summer holidays, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Easter, … well you got it, right ?

Luckily, Bae and I found a round trip for 4 days at 226 euros for us two : arriving early in the morning and leaving late in the evening.

In fact, we are staying 4 days there.

It is now 11pm and we are now searching for accomodation. Sure, we have to find a place to sleep now.

And we do, we are booking a room in an Ibis hotel 3 minutes aways from Sheperd’s Bush underground station for 269 euros for two.

Thanks Booking !

Why don’t you have a little look on TripAdvisor about the hotel or restaurant you are going to ? Take all the comments reasonably, of course.

Our next step now is to planify our stay and I will talk about it in another article.

To be continued …

Rendez-vous sur Hellocoton !
