Good morning people !
Today is our third day in London and we want to visit one of its free museums.
Yes, you have heard, most of the museums in London are totally entrance free !
There are lots of museums and other very original museum in the city. Here are the famous ones :
- British Museum
- Science Museum
- Natural History Museum
- Victoria and Albert Museum
- Transport Museum
- Design Museum
- Museum of London
- Royal Museums Greenwich
- Imperial War Museum
So, we are living our hotel to get in the subway direction Kensington in order to spend the day at the Natural History Museum. Why did you choose this museum ? The musuem is presenting a “new” department : the dinosaures !
It is not really hard to get to the museum, just follow the groups of people. You will land at the right place if not … we are sorry !
At our arrival, we realize that the entrance is actually free but the map is not but you have the possibility to download it on your smartphone for free : click here.
It is huge and we won’t be able to see all the departments of the museum, mostly because my legs are hurting me so bad… There are lots of people but the building is big (and beautiful by the way) so we are walking throught the expositions easily.
If you are looking for a visit with less people or at least without children, the museum suggests late evening visits. If you need further information : click here.
Actually, the museum presents “Life in the dark”, which is an exposition of nocturnal species : click here.
I have to admit that my legs are killing me and Bae is starting to hate me because I am complaning way too much. Now, we are leaving the place to sit outside the museum in the yard, just watching people under a tree. It was a very nice day.
To be continued…
